Lucy Peach is a stadium-folk singer from Fremantle, WA. Inspired by Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, her menstrual cycle and her convict ancestors, she has released two EPs: ‘Wax and Wane’ (2011) and ‘Silver Tongue’ (2016). “A wonderfully engaging and tremendously gifted performer” (AU Review) with a “pitch-perfect voice” (The Music), she is the 2016 winner of the West Australian Music Industry (WAMi) award for Best Folk Act of 2016. Lucy Peach has had an incredibly successful twelve months; releasing her second EP, 'Silver Tongue' since a long hiatus, touring internationally and playing a slew of Western Australian Festivals including Nannup festival, Fairbridge Folk Festival, Perth Fringe World Festival and the Perth International Arts Festival. Soaring wherever the wind takes her, Peach has toured internationally to her Father’s homeground in New Zealand, as well as supporting Mama Kin on the Irish leg of her most recent tour in August, 2015. Her songwriting and live presence has won the approval of fellow musicians and industry, supporting the eclectic likes of The Waifs, Tim Finn, Kav Temperley, Ngaiire, Abbe May, Xavier Rudd, Boy and Bear, All Our Exes Live in Texas and Tim Rogers.
