A band of runaway outlaws and romantics with a keen knack for ear-worming power pop hooks. Perth 5-piece Big Orange have been working hard over the last 12 months, periodically releasing slices of their upcoming debut EP. Their latest single - the dynamic pop-rock track ‘Famous’ - debuted at number #8 in the Amrap Metro Chart, was included in RTRFM's Sound Selection and added to FBi Radio's New Music List. It follows on from debut single ‘Guiding Star’ which featured on 2016’s Kiss My Wami Compilation and the more recent indie anthem and EP title track ‘Streets’- also featuring on the RTRFM Sound Selection upon release. With a solidified line-up, the band have spent the past year honing their live set, laying down tracks at RADA studios with WAM nominated sound engineer Dan Carroll, and have now emerged with firm grasp on their evolving sound. Recently winning over audiences at RTRFM’s Fremantle Winter Music Festival, North Freo Pub Crawl and at their own single launch last month at Mojos Bar, Fremantle. Big Orange continue to solidify their place in the WA music community and build their reputation as one of Perth’s latest must-see bands.
