Meredith Whittle is fast becoming one of Australia’s breakout rock acts, with the recording artist emerging among the leading ladies of rock angst, with 2013’s “Wild Child” and its heroic lead single “Survive”. The debut EP went on to storm the charts and put Meredith on the map as one of the year's most influential artists.

The indie rock Goddess currently hails from Western Australia after moving from her home town, Bendigo in Victoria. Although music is a big part of what she does, philanthropy plays an important of who she is as a person, something she feels comes from being a mother. Last year saw the recording artist raise awareness of bullying and suicide, by taking part in SPAN - a suicide awareness charity and raising funds for Royal Childrens Hospital Cancer wards.

Meredith is no stranger to the world of rock and the abundance of media attention. In 2013 she was nominated and a finalist in the 'Music Oz Awards' for the release of her EP “Wild Child”.
2014 Meredith was shortlisted as Australian Songwriter of the Year and 2016 Meredith was nominated and a finalist in Australian Independent Music Awards for the category of Rock.

Meredith’s influences as an artist are diverse and her inspiration streams though a lot of what she does from some of the worlds greatest artists, like Alanis Morissette and Pearl Jam.

If you like your music with passion and soul and your women with guts and drive, Meredith Whittle is for you. Her strength and substance is evident in the music she creates and processes such extreme talent that you sense that, deep down, Meredith Whittle is magical.

"Her songs pulled you in with their lyrics and clearly showed the ability to hold her own on stage by herself with her indie/blues/folk/country styled music. Look out for Meredith Whittle – she is all class; all talent." Amnplify
